I am a lover of Doctor Who,The Hour, Call the Midwife, Bomb Girls, Sherlock,Harry Potter any sort of sitcom and any good period drama.....

This gets better the longer you watch
Barney is the fan who insists on complete silence and purity in the fandom. Feels should not get in the way.
Ted is the fan who is too emotionally invested in his ship and screams whenever they are on-screen.
Lily is the fan who cries about everything that happens— even when it’s not the least bit emotional.
And Marshall is the hate-watcher who is horrified with the whole fandom but can’t stop watching.
And in that moment, I swear we were all Ted.

when you think about it fanfiction is actually amazing
there are thousands of brilliantly written novel-length stories kids wrote from their own brains about characters and shows/books/movies they love all twined into the internet and other kids read these 50k+ stories in their own time and invest themselves in it
nobody’s being paid to write it and nobody’s being told to read it, people do it because they legitimately enjoy it
that is just kind of amazing
